The Chanel Boy bag was named after the famous love affair Gabrielle had with Arthur Capel CBE a famous polo player. His nickname was Boy Capel due to his boyish good looks. Boy financed Chanel’s first shops and it is belived that the blazers he wore made him bevome muse to Coco herself and influenced her creation of Chanel fashion. Their relationship lasted 9 years even into his marrage upuntil the day he died. The Boy bag was inspired by a bag Coco carried which was a a hunters cartridge bag. This modern boyish twist on the chanel style fast became a fashion must have. This particular bag is in good pre-loved condition and shows general signs of use so please view images closely. This bag comes as a full set but no reciept and with authentication.
